All our birds are carefully acclimated to living outdoors in flights or cages where they can enjoy the most natural environment. Here they gain access to sunlight, shade and shelter from the weather if they so choose. It is surprising how often we find them choosing to sit out in the rain and wind when shelter is provided.
We use a mixture of natural branches and concrete for perches and feed them with a blend of pelleted food, seeds, fruits.
Tame birds or birds that crave human interaction are given plenty of opportunity to continue to do so, although for some the process of getting used to strange surroundings, noise and handling means it can initially be quite a stressful process for them at the outset.
Given our location the birds are able to scream and call to their heart's content and are rarely if ever prevented from doing so.
